These community service opportunities are offered and organized by parent volunteers and participation is entirely optional.
Collecting for the Homeless
September - December 7th
Students are encouraged to bring in the following items to be donated to Denver's homeless.
Serving the Homeless: A Service Field Trip for the Family
Saturday, December 9th
Join other PRACAH family volunteers in personally dropping off the winter supplies that you've collected. Families will also be serving a meal to and visiting with the homeless in downtown Denver.
10.30 am- noon: Training at 3401 N Pecos St, Denver, CO 80211
Noon -2 pm: Serve, eat and visit with the homeless in Lincoln Park by the Capitol.
Age limit: At parents' discretion. Please have at least one adult to every four minors attending.

Show our Caring Hearts: Making Valentines for the Elderly
Thursday, October 5th
During conferences, there will be art stations set up in the Study Hall room. Please stop by to make flowers and valentines to take to the elderly near Valentines Day!
If you are unable to stop by during conferences, feel free to bring in your Valentines another time.

Saturday, February 3rd
Another opportunity to put Community Service into action. Families will join together to deliver the Valentines and flowers we've made to nursing home residents at Brookdale. We will also sing the residents several songs and spend time visiting with them!
